Myanmar's bloody "8-8-88" uprising remembered in Thailand and Philippines on the 20th anniversary.
Activists from the Philippine divisions of Free Burma Coalition and Amnesty International criticised Chinese support for
the Burmese junta and recalled the 20th anniversary of the bloody democracy uprising on August 8, 1988 which
resulted the loss of approximately 3,000 lives. Click here to watch.
