Letter to ASEAN and China

"We want the ASEAN governments to review its policy on Myanmar/Burma, stop financial support to and economic cooperation with the SPDC and join together with the United Nations, United States, EU and other countries to help achieve national reconciliatin and democratization in our country. Collective and effective action by the international community is necessary to persuade the SPDC to stop using violence and accept that political dialogue is the only solution."

"This letter seeks to call your attention to the fact that your government is again unilaterally supporting the SPDC against the willl of the people of Myanmar/Burma and the willl of the international community. You have proven your support to the military dictatorship on January 12, 2007, when you exercised your veto power to reject the non-binding resolution on Myanmar/Burma sponsored by the United States and United Kingdoms. You are standing on the wrong side and acting to prop up tyrants, which make the people of Myanmar/Burma believe that the SPDC has survived to this day by the support of China."
